I think this is why the wireless lan stopped working because the wireless card I took out the computer, I put it in another computer and it is working great.

Dell D610 problems with PCMCIA and Wireless Lan adapters
To futz with failing onboard cards or reinstall the wifi card driver AND Dell’s Quickset software yes it is mandatory! I no longer spend more pcmciq 10 minutes then I go get a wifi card and disable the onboard wifi.
Instead of downloading drivers use the supplemental CD that came with the laptop next time. Your story is light so my answer may repeat the past encounters I’ve had with this issue.
